Processing Acrobat Forms using JavaScript.

D.P. Story has published a blog Processing Acrobat Forms using JavaScript over at the AcroText PDF Blog.

This looks like the first in a number of blogs covering this very wide topic. There are so many possible things you can achieve using PDF form fields and JavaScript, that there is the potential for many more blogs in this series.

If you design PDF forms, I highly recommend you read through the blog. I’ll be sure to post follow-ups to the first one here on our blog

Note: Throughout the blog you will read about the Acrobat JavaScript Reference. In Nitro PDF Professional we have implemented a subset of this, and you can see what objects, methods and properties we support in our online user guide. We have tried to select all of the core methods/properties that are required when designing interactive PDF forms, but if there’s some missing that you’d like to see implemented in Nitro Pro, tell us here.
