We’re pleased to announce the version 5.2 release of Nitro PDF Professional. This update includes a number of new features and bug fixes.
- Edit vector objects
Version 5.0->5.1.1 supported editing text and images only, whereas now you can also edit vector objects (e.g. shapes, charts, tables, etc.) in your PDF documents. Simply select the Edit Text and Images tool and double click on an object on the page to go into edit mode. - Insert Image
Gives you the ability to add new images to your PDF documents. Need to update a company logo or replace an old picture of yourself with a more recent one? First delete the old image with the Edit Text and Images tool, then use Insert Image (accessible from the Insert and Edit ribbon.) to add the new image to your document. - Pencil and Pencil Eraser
Add freehand drawings with the Pencil, and remove segments of freehand drawings with the Pencil Eraser. - Create Weblinks
There may be times when you receive a PDF document that’s been created with a PDF creator (i.e. the free creators on the market) that don’t retain hyperlinks in the document. This feature scans your document and adds links to text when it’s recognised as a valid URL.
v5.2 is a free update for all existing Nitro PDF Professional 5 customers. Click on ‘Check for Updates’ in the Help menu to download.
