Create a PDF of your schedule with Google Calendar

We’ve all been there: you’re rushing to the airport to catch the first leg of a maze of connecting flights, and all the times and details are in your calendar. Sounds simple enough, but when you’re unable to get online to access it, those crucial few minutes can cost you serious time and money.

Printing it is a start, but if you’re anything like us you‘d probably like to save a copy for when you inevitably lose that print-out.

Luckily, Gmail offers handy functionality to quickly create a PDF file, directly from your calendar!

  1. Open up Google Calendar
    - Select the date range/format you’d like to display
  2. Click Print
  3. When the Print Preview dialog opens, click Save As
  4. The PDF file will open up in your default viewer

Now, you can save it anywhere you need it, for access anywhere – or to email to anyone needing to know your itinerary, and print a copy as a backup. If there’s one time you’ll have a flat battery, with no outlet in sight; it’ll be while you’re running through that terminal to catch a non-refundable flight.
