PrimoPDF Users, Welcome to the Nitro Family!
The teams behind PrimoPDF and Nitro PDF Software have been working together closely for a while now, but today I’m pleased to announce that Nitro has officially acquired PrimoPDF (the ridiculously popular free PDF converter) and PrimoOnline (the free online PDF creator). I’d like to personally welcome all PrimoPDF users to the Nitro family and while I’m at it share our CEO’s thoughts on the big news:
We say quite prominently on the PrimoPDF web site that it’s the number one free PDF creator available and perhaps you might be wondering exactly what we mean by that. That position comes from sheer weight of numbers. There are literally millions of people using PrimoPDF each day and around half a million new users are downloading PrimoPDF each month.
So what does it all mean for PrimoPDF users?
Well, it’s all positive. We love what PrimoPDF does and what it stands for, and we want build on what’s made PrimoPDF so popular and make it even better.
We have plenty of ideas for the future and look forward to releasing product updates soon.
Stay tuned.

March 3, 2009Combining your efforts with an already successful service like PrimoPDF is a really good strategic move, really consolidating your position in your niche. I've been a user of paid-for pdf services for too long, and am thoroughly happy to have found your alternative. I highly recommend the NitroPDF to all serious computer users.
Keep up the good work, folks!
